# Complete your first app task

> Choose an app, prepare materials, run a small workflow and inspect a saved business result.

Start with a small task that has clear inputs and an easily checked result, such as drafting a section from an approved document or analyzing one business case. Each app's own quickstart will explain required materials, the operation sequence and expected results.

## 1. Find the app entry

Sign in to [Bosi App](/en/ai/bosi/quickstart), select the app's organization and open **Discover and add → Apps** from the sidebar add menu. Read the description, screenshots and current status.

If the app is ready and you have access, open its entry Assistant. Otherwise, someone with initialization permission follows [Discover and enable apps](./app-guide/discovery-and-setup), and an administrator grants employees permission to use it.

## 2. Confirm the scope of this task

Before starting, identify the business object and expected output:

* **Business object**: the document, case or business record to process.
* **Project context**: for apps that require projects, select an existing business project or create one through the app.
* **Materials**: the files, knowledge bases or authorized business data available for this task.
* **Completion criteria**: a draft, formal file, structured record or recommendation awaiting human review.

If the app fixes the project context, use the scope of that business page. Return to the app's project entry when you need another project. See [Projects and task collaboration](./app-guide/projects-and-tasks).

## 3. Prepare materials and request work

Upload materials, select records or complete business configuration as the app requires. Then explain the goal to the Assistant. For example:

> Using the approved materials in the current project, complete \[this business step]. Identify missing information first, produce a result I can review and cite the materials used. Pause and explain any step that requires my confirmation.

Replace the placeholder with an operation the app supports. Supply missing information before proceeding, and configure external service access through the app's or platform's authorization entry.

## 4. Follow progress and Workbench

Use chat to assign work and understand progress. Use Workbench to inspect business records, drafts and structured results. Some apps open their business views automatically; others provide an app entry or Workbench menu action.

Apps with project task integration can also show responsibility, dependencies and execution attempts. After a response says work is scheduled or queued, continue checking its actual state and result. See [Workbench and delivery](./app-guide/workbench-and-delivery).

## 5. Review and continue

Open the resulting record or file and check its content, source materials and business requirements. Request specific corrections when needed, using the app's supported retry or revision workflow. Once the result meets the requirements, use the app's confirmation, save, export or submission action.

| Check | Evidence |
| - | - |
| Did the work execute? | An actual execution record or business state change |
| Was the result saved? | The record, file or version can be reopened through the app |
| Is the business work complete? | The app's completion criteria and required human review are satisfied |
| Can the team access it? | Recipients have the relevant app, project and result permissions |

Keep the business object or project for subsequent work so its materials and history can accumulate. For initialization, access or result problems, see [Troubleshooting](./app-guide/troubleshooting).
