Choose Discover & add from the sidebar’s add entry to browse capabilities available in the current organization. Pick the category that matches your goal, then follow its usage or initialization flow.

Choose an entry point

Browsing a catalog does not install resources or grant runtime access. See Discover & add and the Assistant template guide.

Use a business app

For the application product guides, see Plugin Apps. Start with Complete your first app task.
  1. Open Apps, find an app suited to your goal and inspect its details.
  2. Enter an initialized app directly. For a new app, check its primary model and any required embedding or vision models.
  3. After initialization, open its Assistant and prepare materials and settings through the business interface.
  4. Perform a small, clear task and inspect data, views and results before using the full workflow.
An app can combine specialist Assistants, tools and a business Workbench. For example, the bid app owns outline and chapter workflows while connecting its tasks to platform Project tasks. See Plugin apps and projects. App initialization and business completion must be verified separately.

Use plugins in conversations

After a plugin is available in the workspace, select it from the conversation’s Plugins menu. New selections apply to subsequent execution; running tasks retain the configuration they started with. External services require separate authorization. Connect account opens the browser connection flow. Bosi checks completion and continues selection in the original conversation. Canceling the wait does not revoke completed service authorization. Adding a package, selecting it in a conversation and connecting an account respectively establish resource availability, use in this conversation and authorized external access. See ChatKit plugins, middleware and digital experts.

Organize frequently used Assistants

Use an Assistant’s context menu to pin it, move it into a personal section, mark it read or unread, or create a local list copy. A copy still points to the same platform Assistant and conversation history; it does not duplicate server configuration. Pins, sections, copies and sidebar layout are saved locally by service, account and organization. Marking unread is a local reminder; reading a conversation or marking it read updates platform read state. Activity refreshes periodically and when the window regains focus.

Use and maintenance permissions

Users can run experts they are authorized to use. Maintaining models, prompts, capabilities or templates requires the appropriate workspace editing rights. Saved and published configuration affects that Assistant’s users. The profile panel includes activity, channels, automations and about entries. Managing channels or automations depends on publication, available providers and permissions; see Assistant profile. For personal versus shared settings, see Personalization and settings.
